The cost of any future Law Suit must be viewed in terms of how many property owners sign on to split the cost, also the benefits of the result of such an action in terms of lowered taxes for a period of years . We have until mid- September to file.
An Article 78 lawsuit is filed by property owners against the township assessor, town, town board members, school districts and county. Cost could be in the $70,000 range.
